In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the shadows." The narrative features a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret group.
The mission centers on "bizarre tests and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Transformations
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an special katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
